About the Position: As a Cook at Inlakesh Living Foods, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality, wholesome meals that align with our commitment to nutritional eating and dietary inclusivity. Working in our busy café and deli setting, you will contribute to the creation of fresh breakfast, lunch, and ready-made items while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, presentation, and flavour. This position is essential to delivering the consistent, health-focused experience our customers love in our dynamic Macquarie Park location. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of all-day breakfast and lunch dishes, including bruschetta, fritters, nourishing bowls, burgers, platters, soups, broths, frittatas, quiches, and ready-made meals using organic and free-range ingredients. Accommodate special dietary requirements such as paleo, vegan, gluten-free, and keto options while ensuring flavour and quality. Maintain high standards of food preparation, hygiene, portion control, and presentation in line with café and health regulations. Bake daily items such as muffins and banana bread, and assist with deli offerings including artisan meats and cheeses. Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations, timely service, and fresh stock management. Support overall kitchen cleanliness, waste management, and compliance with food safety protocols. Requirements: Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply. AQF Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent); or at least 3 years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above. At least a minimum of 12 months relevant experience. Strong technical skills in preparing healthy, wholefood-based dishes with attention to special dietary needs; excellent time management and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment; positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for nutritional and sustainable food practices; good communication and teamwork skills.
