Job description Senior Contract Administrator – A05/1 Superintendents Representative About the Role This is a pivotal opportunity to support this government department. You will play a key role delivering high-level contract administration across major construction and engineering projects. Key Responsibilities Ensure all contractual obligations are understood and applied fairly and consistently Provide contract supervisory support across major projects, including: Conducting regular site inspections Coordinating and facilitating site meetings Issuing variation orders and assessing contractual claims Processing Requests for Information (RFIs) Monitoring compliance of works against contract specifications Preparing and managing defect lists Ensuring Building Act compliance and maintaining accurate records Support dispute resolution processes with informed advice to the Superintendent Implement and adhere to contract administration policies and procedures Maintain compliance with systems, processes and contractual frameworks Communicate proactively with clients and project stakeholders regarding cost, time and quality risks About You Strong understanding of contract administration practices (traditional and non-traditional contracts) Experience supporting construction or engineering projects preferred Government contract experience highly regarded Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities Please note you must have the relevant construction experience.
