We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing business based in Taren Point seeking an experienced finance professional to support the team during a critical period. Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Finance Manager and GFO , you will take ownership of key financial functions and play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency. Financial Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS / local GAAP) Assist with statutory reporting and year-end processes General Ledger Management Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Post journals including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and adjustments Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial data Account Reconciliations Perform reconciliations across bank, supplier, customer, and intercompany accounts Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Month-End & Year-End Close Manage and execute month-end close processes Ensure transactions are recorded in the correct period Support audit requirements and liaise with auditors Fixed Assets Accounting Maintain fixed asset register Calculate and post depreciation Track asset lifecycle including additions, disposals, and transfers Compliance & Audit Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax obligations Support internal and external audit processes Financial Analysis Provide variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) Deliver meaningful commentary on financial performance Your Profile Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Senior Accountant roleStrong experience across financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, AP/AR, and reconciliations Advanced Excel skills (essential)Experience within a manufacturing environment highly regarded NetSuite experience is a major advantage Ability to work autonomously and take initiativeHands-on, detail-oriented, and adaptable Contact Patrick Bergman patrick.bergman@adecco.com.au 0407 999 070 SCR-patrick-bergman
