Required positions for Rebel and Misfits Locations in Sydney: Macquarie Park – 67 Epping Rd, Macquarie Park, NSW 2113 Key Duties and Responsibilities: The Chef will play an essential role in our kitchens, ensuring that every meal reflects the quality and style that Rebel and Misfits is known for. The main duties include: Designing, planning and preparing creative menus that reflect the unique style of each of our venues. Cooking and presenting high-quality dishes across different sections of the kitchen, while meeting customer expectations. Supervising and training junior staff, providing guidance on food preparation, portioning, and plating standards. Managing kitchen operations, including stock control, ordering supplies, and ensuring cost-effective use of ingredients. Monitoring food safety and hygiene, keeping the kitchen compliant with all health regulations. Adjusting menus to meet seasonal availability and dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.). Working closely with management to maintain consistent quality across our multiple restaurants. Coordinate with front staff for smooth service. As we provide catering services for events, we require skilled staff with the expertise to design customised menus that meet the specific needs of different functions and occasions Skills, Experience and Qualifications Needed To apply for this job, you must have: A Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Certificate IV in Kitchen Management (or an equal qualification) OR a Diploma in Hospitality Management At least 1 years of full-time experience working as a Chef Very good knowledge of continental food menu. Good teamwork and communication skills Ability to work under pressure and keep the kitchen running smoothly A strong passion for food and very good attention to detail What We Can Offer: A competitive annual salary package of $75,000 – $79,000 plus superannuation.
