Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Speech Pathologist to join our team in Bundoora, Victoria. This permanent, full-time role is essential for providing high-quality speech pathology services to our patients, ensuring they receive the best possible care. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders, contributing to the overall health and wellbeing of our community. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ speech, language, and swallowing abilities. Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on assessment results. Provide therapy and support to patients and their families, ensuring effective communication strategies are in place. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in speech pathology. Participate in professional development and training opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification. Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a senior role. Strong understanding of speech and language disorders across various age groups. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
