With continued growth and investment in systems and processes, they are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join their finance team. Working alongside experienced finance professionals, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key accounting processes, support offshore team members and contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives. The Position Reporting to the Financial Accountant, this role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounts payable activities, supporting reconciliation processes, and acting as a key point of contact for finance-related queries across the business. This is a hands-on position that combines transactional accounting responsibilities with quality assurance, process oversight, and stakeholder engagement. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing accounts payable processes across multiple business entities Reviewing and monitoring work completed by offshore finance team members Ensuring invoices are processed accurately and in accordance with internal procedures Managing payment runs and monitoring supplier payment terms Performing bank, revenue and clearing account reconciliations Investigating and resolving finance-related queries from internal stakeholders Your Profile To be successful in this role, you will possess strong accounting fundamentals and have a genuine understanding of how financial transactions flow through an organisation. You will demonstrate: Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Officer or similar finance positions Experience working with accounting software such as Xero or similar systems Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities Experience supporting or mentoring team members will be highly regarded The successful candidate will be required to complete relevant background and compliance checks as part of the onboarding process.
