Power BI & Reporting Design and develop engaging, intuitive Power BI dashboards and reports using governed datasets and semantic models. Apply strong data visualisation principles to select appropriate visuals and create compelling data stories that drive decision making. Design report layouts, navigation, interactions, and drill-through experiences that enhance user adoption and business value. Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and rapidly iterate solutions. Data Validation & Quality Assurance Analyse data across Power BI semantic models and underlying SQL-based data sources. Investigate reporting discrepancies and identify root causes of data quality issues. Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, reliable, and trusted by business users. Assess downstream impacts of data changes across reporting and analytics environments. Data Platform & Transformation Support the organisation's migration to Snowflake and future-state analytics platform. Work across the end-to-end BI ecosystem, including data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, modelling, and reporting. Collaborate with data engineering teams to improve data quality, governance, and reporting outcomes. Contribute to the ongoing evolution of analytics-ready datasets and semantic models. Essential Hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models. Strong understanding of data visualisation best practices and data storytelling. Experience designing user-friendly reporting experiences and self-service analytics solutions. Advanced SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, filtering, validation, and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of data modelling concepts, including fact and dimension modelling. Experience working across Power BI and SQL-based reporting environments.
