On Track Recruitment is seeking an experienced Driver / Hiab Operator for a rail maintenance project based in Kalgoorlie. Working as part of a rail maintenance crew, you will be responsible for operating a 6-wheel truck fitted with a 4T Hiab crane to transport, load and unload rail materials. When not operating the vehicle or crane, you will assist track crews with maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities: • Operate a 6-wheel truck and 4T Hiab crane • Load, unload and transport 6m–8m lengths of rail • Assist track maintenance crews as required • Conduct pre-start checks and maintain equipment • Adhere to all rail safety and site procedures Requirements: • Current HR Driver's Licence • Vehicle Loading Crane Licence (C2 or above) • Previous Hiab / Crane Truck experience • Rail industry experience essential • Experience handling and moving rail • Strong commitment to safety This role offers an immediate start, accommodation provided and the opportunity for ongoing work for the right candidate.
