Description Maintain and update information systems to ensure data accuracy and accessibility. Assist in the classification and indexing of records in accordance with public sector guidelines. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies. Handle information requests promptly and securely. Provide advice and support to staff on record-keeping practices and procedures. Conduct regular audits to maintain the integrity of information systems. Contribute to the development of improved processes for information management. Support the team in achieving departmental goals and objectives. Profile A successful Information Management Officer should have: A strong understanding of information and records management principles. Experience working within the public sector or similar environments. Proficiency in using electronic document and records management systems (EDRMS). Experience using CM experience and CM administrator. Knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity. The ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
