This is a hands-on sales and recruitment role for someone who is confident building a desk from scratch. You will be responsible for new business development, cold calling, lead generation, client management, candidate attraction and delivering workforce solutions to clients across the industrial and blue collar market. We are looking for someone who can sell, build relationships, work to targets and create opportunities without waiting for leads to be handed over. The Role Based from our Truganina location, you will focus on developing business across Melbourne’s western industrial market. You will be contacting prospective clients, identifying staffing needs, meeting decision makers and providing recruitment support to businesses that need reliable workforce solutions. This role suits someone who enjoys sales, urgency, activity and results. What You’ll Be Doing Building a recruitment desk from the ground up Cold calling prospective clients and generating new opportunities Developing relationships with hiring managers, site managers and business owners Managing the full 360 recruitment process Attracting, screening and managing candidates Selling recruitment solutions based on value, quality and service Working to activity, revenue and growth targets Managing client follow-up and pipeline activity Representing White Collar Blue across the Melbourne market What We’re Looking For We want someone who is commercially minded, resilient and highly motivated. You may already be in recruitment or labour hire, or you may come from a strong B2B sales background where cold calling, targets and business development are part of your day-to-day work. Relevant backgrounds may include recruitment, labour hire, freight, logistics, transport, industrial sales, commercial services, PPE, workwear, equipment hire, facilities, telco or other outbound sales environments.
