About the role This firm is looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to accelerate their career within a high-performing Corporate Tax team in Adelaide. The team supports clients through every stage of the corporate tax lifecycle — from tax audits and corporate governance to international tax matters and M&A, including due diligence and deal structuring. This is a genuinely supportive team that invests in people for the long term. You'll work closely with Partners and senior team members from day one, with a clear and transparent path for career progression, regular technical training, and continuous mentoring as you build both your technical and leadership capabilities. Key responsibilities Prepare and review company and trust tax returns across a broad client base Research and support tax consulting advice (tax consolidation, tax treaties, hybrid mismatches, CFCs, withholding tax, thin capitalisation, permanent establishments, AMITs, etc.) Assist clients with M&A activity, including tax structuring and due diligence Support international tax research, advice and calculations Assist with ATO reviews, governance matters, audits and rulings Research and analyse technical tax issues, preparing reports Contribute to business development initiatives and proposals Mentor and support junior team members, including Graduates and Vacationers About you Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business/Commerce, Law or related field CA qualified or actively working towards CA Solid corporate tax experience in professional services Good understanding of Australian entity taxation, with basic tax-effect accounting knowledge Analytical, commercially curious, and confident applying technical knowledge to client work Experience supporting or coaching junior colleagues Strong work ethic and commitment to client service What's on offer 9-day fortnight with no reduction in pay Flexible working options Support for CA or other postgraduate study Structured learning and development at every career stage Fully funded gym membership and health insurance discounts To apply, click 'Apply Now' or send your CV directly to ludovie.aubert@edtglobal.com
