We are seeking a motivated and reliable Retail Store Manager who shares our commitment to great food, sustainability, and outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. Sales & Revenue Management Lead the store/restaurant to consistently achieve or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets. Analyse revenue-impacting issues and implement targeted strategies, including marketing initiatives, cross-selling, and promotions, to increase profitability. Monitor local marketplace activity and competitor offerings, communicating insights to senior management and owners. Manage all customer contact points, including in-store, 3PL deliveries, delivery apps, and customer reviews, ensuring a “customer-first” approach. 2. Customer Service & Experience Champion company customer service standards and customer experience benchmarks. Resolve enquiries and complaints professionally and in a timely manner, ensuring every interaction supports the brand’s reputation. Provide feedback and coaching to improve performance at individual and team levels. Implement training programs tailored to each team member’s role to maintain exceptional service standards. 3. People Management & Leadership Lead, coach, and motivate a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment. Conduct formal 1-on-1s, set goals, and monitor performance to support development and succession planning. Recruit, retain, and develop talent, creating pathways for promotions and future leadership. Develop SOPs, training content, and ensure clear communication of business goals, targets, and KPIs. Counsel and discipline staff when performance expectations are not met. 4. Operational Excellence Oversee daily store operations including inventory, purchasing, stock rotation, and adherence to FIFO principles to minimise waste and maximise margins. Manage controllable expenses including wages, margins, product quality, shelf life, waste, and discounting control. Ensure visual merchandising aligns with company policy and maintains a customer-focused presentation. Maintain industry-best store cleanliness standards, adhering to all operational checklists. Ensure compliance with WHS, food safety, liquor licensing, and organisational policies. 5. Administration & Reporting Oversee bookkeeping, banking, cash handling, and financial records with zero discrepancies. Manage incident and hazard logs, perform monthly OHS and food safety audits, and ensure legislation compliance. Maintain accurate stock and financial records, budgets, and KPI reporting to senior management and board-level stakeholders. Handle ad hoc tasks as required, supporting operational efficiency and business objectives. About You You will be passionate and authentic, keen to work within a fast moving and fun environment. Requirement · Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a busy retail or hospitality environment. · Strong understanding of clientele and delivering high-quality customer service standards. · Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams in a fast-paced setting. · Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. · Solid commercial awareness, with experience managing sales performance and KPIs. · Passion for delivering outstanding service, maintaining product quality, and upholding operational cleanliness. · Flexible availability, including weekends and peak/event periods.
