About the Role We are seeking an experienced Specialised Transport Supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient on road coordination of transport activities across remote and regulated environments. This role involves managing mobile operations, ensuring compliance with strict safety and regulatory standards, and supporting teams that transport Security Sensitive Dangerous Goods. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong operational awareness, sound decision-making, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and supervise multi-vehicle transport operations Ensure compliance with legislative, safety, and company requirements Lead and support drivers and convoy personnel in remote environments Manage route planning, risk assessments, and journey management Liaise with internal stakeholders and external authorities as required Maintain accurate operational documentation and reporting Promote a strong safety culture and operational discipline across teams Skills & Experience Proven experience supervising transport or logistics operations Sound understanding of Dangerous Good and Explosives regulations Demonstrated leadership in mobile or remote high-risk operational environments Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills High level of situational awareness and problem-solving ability Ability to remain calm, decisive, and professional under pressure Required Qualifications & Clearances Current MR Driver's Licence Baseline Defence Security Clearance (or ability to obtain) Current or ability to acquire QESC or State equivalent (e.g. NSW UHL) Dangerous Goods licence (advantageous) Advanced Fatigue Management (or willingness to complete) Availability to work away for up to 12 consecutive nights Important - Please Read Before Applying This role requires extended periods away from home.
