Permanent Nights 4 On / 4 Off | 6:00pm – 6:00am $56.50/hr 36% Shift Loading Approx. $168K OT Super OR Permanent Days 4 On / 4 Off | 6:00am – 6:00pm $56.50/hr 24% Shift Loading Approx. $155K OT Super Excellent overtime available Long-term permanent position Modern, fully automated distribution facility Work with cutting-edge warehouse automation technology Career progression and ongoing technical development The Role Working within a highly automated distribution environment, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of complex automated material handling systems. Your responsibilities will include: Preventative, predictive and reactive mechanical maintenance Mechanical fault finding and breakdown repairs Maintaining automated conveyor systems, sortation equipment, ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems), stacker cranes, shuttle systems, vertical lift equipment, pallet handling systems, monorails and transfer systems Servicing gearboxes, bearings, chains, rollers, belts, drive units, motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems Equipment inspections, rebuilds, alignments and component replacements Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime Working closely with the electrical and controls teams during automation faults and equipment upgrades Completing planned maintenance through the site's CMMS About You To be successful, you'll ideally have: Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter, Mechanical Fitter or Maintenance Technician Experience within automated distribution centres, logistics, warehouse automation, FMCG, manufacturing or material handling environments Strong mechanical fault-finding skills on automated equipment Experience maintaining conveyors, sorters, stacker cranes, ASRS systems, shuttle systems, pallet conveyors, vertical lifts or automated warehouse equipment Good knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and rotating equipment A proactive approach with a strong focus on safety, reliability and continuous improvement If you're looking to work with some of the most advanced warehouse automation technology in Australia while earning an excellent salary on a great roster, we'd love to hear from you.
