Leading industry super fund Private markets focus (credit, broad asset class exposure) Sydney / Melbourne | Hybrid About the company An opportunity has arisen for an Investment Operations Analyst to join a high-performing private markets investment operations function on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Supporting a diverse portfolio across private credit and other unlisted asset classes, this team operates on BlackRock Aladdin and eFront, delivering enhanced transparency and real-time data capabilities. With the continued rollout and optimisation of Aladdin (including eFront modules such as Insights and Invest), the team is increasingly focused on data management, analytics, and process scalability. This role offers a blend of BAU investment operations responsibilities alongside exposure to evolving data-driven workflows and platform enhancements. Your key responsibilities will include: Perform cash, position, and transaction reconciliations across private markets portfolios; Support transaction and lifecycle activities across private investments including capital calls and distributions; Maintain and ensure accuracy of investment data within Aladdin and eFront platforms; Investigate and resolve breaks across internal systems, fund managers, and custodians; Support operational processes across private credit and broader private markets asset classes; Liaise with internal stakeholders, external fund managers, and service providers; Contribute to process improvements with a focus on automation and data integrity; AND Support reporting, dashboards, and data analytics initiatives within Aladdin/eFront. Qualifications, skills, and experience required include: Background in investment operations, superannuation, fund services, or asset management; Experience in private markets operations (required), ideally with exposure to private credit; Strong understanding of fund structures, capital activity, and unlisted investment workflows; Experience with eFront (required) and exposure to Aladdin (preferred); Solid understanding of reconciliation processes and data management within an investment environment; AND Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
