Are you a detail-oriented professional with a "compliance-first" mindset and a background in electrical or industrial manufacturing? This is a specialised, coordination and documentation-focused role designed for someone who is passionate about staying in the "compliance lane." You will play a critical part in ensuring our clients' systems meet rigorous global standards. The Role In this role, you will act as the central bridge between engineering, production, and purchasing teams, ensuring compliance is embedded throughout the product lifecycle, from design through to delivery. You will support engineering early in the design phase by identifying compliance requirements, associated costs, and timelines for new products, while maintaining accurate, audit-ready compliance records across Bills of Materials (BOMs) and SKUs within SharePoint. You will take ownership of certification management, coordinate product testing with external laboratories for both Australian and international markets, and work closely with suppliers to validate RoHS and REACH declarations, Full Material Disclosures (FMD), and battery compliance. About you This is a unique opportunity to combine a technical, engineering mindset with a high level of administrative precision, playing a critical role in bringing compliant, high-quality products to market. We’re seeking a proactive, detail-driven self-starter with solid experience in product compliance, certification coordination, or a similar documentation-focused role within a technical environment. Ideally, you have a background in electrical or electronics, and are confident engaging with engineers and stakeholders. You bring persistence and curiosity to your work with global suppliers to close information gaps, and you genuinely enjoy the structured, process-driven world of compliance and quality systems such as ISO 9001. The business Our client is a market leader in machine maintenance safety technology and is currently experiencing an exciting phase of growth as it expands into global markets. Working with major industry players worldwide, they offer the unique advantage of being based locally in the Hunter region. You’ll join a supportive, energetic team where design, engineering, and manufacturing are all completed in-house, combined with a genuine commitment to work-life balance.
