About the Role We are looking for a Senior Quality Officer In Charge for our client, who is a well-established food processing company in Brisbane East. This Senior Quality Officer in Charge role ensures full compliance, audit readiness, and product integrity across all stages of processing and export operations. $130,000 super 10% short-term bonus Full-time, Monday to Friday salary hours (some varied afternoon work as required) Relocation assistance offered to the right candidate Roles & Responsibilities Lead AUS-MEAT classification, product description, labelling, and compliance across all operations Maintain audit readiness for AUS-MEAT, DAFF/competent authority, and international export market requirements Oversee HACCP, GMP, GHP, and BRCGS-based Quality Management Systems across production processes Manage traceability systems including NLIS, labelling integrity, certification, and product control Lead investigations, CAPA, monitoring programs, and continuous improvement initiatives About You AUS-MEAT Standards Officer Certificate and Officer in Charge certification (essential) Animal Welfare Certification and Approved Arrangement experience BRCGS certification and strong knowledge of export meat standards and classification systems Minimum 5 years’ experience leading QA/QC teams in meat processing or similar environment Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, values-driven approach About RWM Group RWM Group is an Australian owned specialist recruitment and workforce management company with both local and international talent solutions.
