About the Opportunity As the Clinical Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across the perioperative department including Anaesthetics ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality care. You will oversee theatre operations, support and develop multidisciplinary teams, drive quality initiatives, and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Lead the day-to-day management of the perioperative department, ensuring efficient theatre utilisation and patient flow. Manage workforce planning, rostering, resource allocation and theatre scheduling to maximise operational performance. Identify opportunities to improve productivity and enhance service delivery. Clinical Leadership Inspire, mentor and support teams across scrub/scout, anaesthetic and procedure room services. Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management and professional development initiatives. Foster a culture built on accountability, collaboration, clinical excellence and continuous learning. Clinical Governance & Quality Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control practices, sterilisation requirements, ACORN Standards and the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards. Lead quality improvement projects and accreditation activities. Promote best practice in patient safety, risk management and clinical governance. Stakeholder Engagement Develop strong collaborative relationships with surgeons, anaesthetists, visiting medical officers and executive leadership. Relevant postgraduate qualifications. Proven leadership experience within perioperative services. Strong understanding of ACORN Standards, NSQHS Standards and clinical governance frameworks.
