We are partnering with a well-established Australian FMCG business to recruit a Senior Credit Controller . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced credit professional to take ownership of the collections function while leading a small team and driving improvements across the accounts receivable process. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in managing customer accounts, reducing aged debt, resolving retailer deductions and ensuring strong cash collection outcomes. Monitor aged debtors and proactively drive collections activity. Negotiate payment arrangements and manage overdue accounts. Assess credit applications and maintain customer credit limits. Manage bad debt processes and external debt collection agencies where required. Oversee daily allocation of customer receipts. Ensure customer accounts are accurately maintained and reconciled. Investigate and resolve payment disputes, short pays and unapplied cash. Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice queries efficiently. About You To be successful, you will have: Strong credit control and accounts receivable experience. Experience managing aged debt, collections and customer disputes. Exposure to retailer deductions, claims or chargebacks within FMCG, retail or wholesale environments. Proven people leadership experience. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. Experience using ERP systems and reporting tools. A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
