Underground Jumbo Operator About the Role We are seeking experienced Underground Jumbo Operators to join a high-performing development team Working on a 2:2 FIFO roster, you will be responsible for safe and efficient face drilling in line with development plans and production targets. Key Responsibilities Operating Single-boom jumbo drill rigs (Sandvik / Epiroc or similar) Drilling development headings to design and specification Installing ground support (bolts, mesh) as required Reading and interpreting drill patterns and mine plans Conducting pre-start inspections and basic maintenance checks Accurately completing drill reports and shift documentation Ensuring compliance with underground safety procedures and standards Working closely with Supervisors and Drill & Blast teams Skills & Experience Required Proven underground jumbo operating experience Experience on twin-boom development drills (e.g., Sandvik DD series, Epiroc Boomer or equivalent) Strong understanding of ground support and development cycles Current HR driver's licence Underground mining inductions Strong safety focus and ability to work autonomously Team-oriented mindset with solid communication skills What's on Offer 2:2 FIFO roster Flights paid Permanent full-time opportunity Long-term underground project stability Supportive leadership and strong team culture Please send your resume to sararuddy@mmfs.com.au
