Contract Administrator – 6 Month ContractHigh-End Commercial Fit Out Project | ASAP Start We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join a reputable commercial fit out contractor on a high-end commercial fit out project. This is an excellent opportunity to assist in the successful completion of a flagship project and work alongside a highly regarded project team. This is a 6-month contract position with an immediate start available for the right candidate. The Role Working closely with the Project Manager and site team, you will play a key role in driving the commercial and contractual aspects of the project through to completion. Key Responsibilities Contract administration and management of subcontractor packages Procurement and letting of subcontractor trades Assessment, negotiation, and processing of subcontractor claims and variations Preparation and management of head contract and subcontract documentation Cost control, forecasting, and budget management Preparation of progress claims and payment schedules Management of RFIs and project documentation Monitoring project financial performance and reporting Assisting with project close-out, defects management, and final accounts Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders Ensuring contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle About You To be considered for this position, you will possess: Minimum 3 years' experience as a Contract Administrator within the construction industry Proven experience delivering commercial fit out and refurbishment projects valued between $5M and $20M Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management Experience managing subcontractor procurement and variations Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline What's on Offer?
