A new opportunity has arisen for a junior lawyer to join its in-house legal team. The role: This role will see you provide advice and educate members of the association across a broad range of employment-related legal issues including but not limited to; employee conduct matters, investigations, terminations and disciplinary issues, and award/enterprise agreement interpretation and compliance. You will also have the opportunity to represent and advocate on behalf of members and non-members of the industry in the Fair Work Commission and other industrial/employment-related tribunals or regulatory bodies such as the Fair Work Ombudsman. Responsibilities: Advising on the full spectrum of employment related legal issues Advising members on day to day liquor licensing and gaming compliance matters Advocating in the Fair Work Commission and other courts and tribunals Provide practical guidance and strategic advice to relevant stakeholders on the management of employee relations matters.
