Industry Award – Level 4-5, based on experience Be part a committed and supportive team of professionals Inclusive workplace environment Reporting to the Direct Supports Manager We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our team as a Coordinator – Short Term Respite. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in coordinating respite and short-term accommodation services, while leading a team of Disability Support Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred supports. This position involves working across both the site in Manunda and the office in Earlville, collaborating closely with participants, staff, families, and stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of services. You will be responsible for coordinating supports, maintaining compliance, overseeing service quality, and supporting participants to achieve their NDIS goals. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Coordinating and maintaining respite and short-term accommodation services in line with participant needs and NDIS plans Providing supervision, guidance and support to Disability Support Workers, including performance management and development Responsible for staff rostering to ensure adequate support for all activities, considering participant choice, safety, skills and cultural needs Working with Participants to achieve their goals and build capacity and independence Providing ongoing coordination of respite services in line with NDIS plans Maintaining accurate and up-to-date participant records, case notes, risk assessments and support plans Ensuring services are delivered within NDIS funding guidelines and organisational policies Engaging professionally with Participants, families, supports and third-party organisations Undertaking service-based and individual risk assessments Monitoring compliance and quality of service delivery through regular site visits Producing reports, correspondence and attending relevant meetings as required Managing workload, reporting requirements and contributing to organisational performance Participating in an on-call roster, including after-hours emergency response Supporting crisis situations to ensure essential supports continue as required Contributing to training, team development and continuous improvement initiatives Maintaining confidentiality and complying with all relevant legislation and codes of conduct What’s on offer?
