With continued growth across their nursing services division, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Clinical Nurse to join their leadership team. Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role supporting a team of 10 Registered Nurses while helping drive clinical excellence, compliance and quality outcomes across community-based services. About the Role This is a hands-on leadership position that combines clinical oversight, wound management expertise, assessments, compliance and team support. You will become the key clinical escalation point for community nurses requiring guidance and support, particularly in relation to complex wound management and clinical decision-making. The role offers a blend of office-based leadership and community engagement, providing variety and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to client outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and support to a team of 10 Registered Nurses Act as the primary escalation point for complex clinical matters Lead and support best-practice wound management across the service Review referrals and conduct comprehensive client assessments Develop, review and update care plans Ensure service agreements and clinical documentation remain compliant and current Maintain accurate records within the organisation’s electronic clinical management system Support clinical governance, quality improvement and compliance activities Conduct community visits and clinical reviews as required Oversee care planning and clinical supports including : Wound Care Catheter Care Diabetes Management Seizure Management Medication Support About You To be successful in this role, you will possess: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills Previous experience in a senior clinical, leadership or coordination role Advanced wound care knowledge and experience Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Strong understanding of clinical governance and compliance requirements Ability to work autonomously while supporting a geographically dispersed team Highly Regarded Community nursing experience Primary healthcare experience Disability, NDIS or community services experience Wound care certifications or advanced wound management training Technology & Systems This role requires a high level of computer literacy and confidence working within electronic clinical systems. You will be responsible for reviewing referrals, maintaining care plans, managing service agreements and ensuring accurate compliance documentation. As such, you will bring: Advanced computer skills Experience using electronic clinical management systems Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, Teams and Excel Excellent documentation and data management abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Confidence learning and navigating new software platforms Why Apply?
