Join Total Body Physio – Build the Career You Actually Want in Private Practice Total Body Physio is growing across Sydney's Inner West. With established clinics in Five Dock and Summer Hill, we are known for structured rehabilitation, strong referral relationships, and high clinical standards. We are looking for a full-time female physiotherapist to join our team. This role suits a range of backgrounds. Whether you are a new graduate stepping into private practice for the first time, an early-career clinician ready to deepen your MSK skills, or an experienced hospital physiotherapist looking to transition into a more autonomous, outcome-focused environment - this could be the right move. This role is ideal if you want: • Structured mentoring and clear clinical systems • Confidence in musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation • Exposure to gym-based rehab and return-to-sport pathways • A supportive but performance-focused team environment • Clear progression as the clinic expands We welcome applicants both with and without private practice experience. You do not need to know everything - but you must be coachable, motivated, and committed to developing strong clinical standards. This is not a passive caseload role. We value clinicians who take ownership of outcomes and want to build a long-term career in private practice. About Total Body Physio Our mission is simple: To help our community move better, recover properly, and stay active long term. We are a structured, outcome-focused private practice with clinics in Sydney's Inner West. We focus on: • Musculoskeletal physiotherapy • Sports injury management • Post-operative rehabilitation • Clinical Pilates • Gym-based rehabilitation and return-to-sport progression Our clinical model is systematic and progression-driven. We prioritise clear treatment plans, objective strength measures, and measurable outcomes - not passive therapy. Patients choose us because we explain the "why" behind their rehab and guide them confidently back to full function. Our clinics are fully equipped with gym space, reformers, and modern rehabilitation tools to support strength-based recovery. Who This Role Is For You could come from a range of backgrounds and thrive in our clinics, including: New graduates and early-career clinicians - You do not need private practice experience. If you are coachable, motivated, and committed to developing strong clinical standards, we have the structure to support you from day one. Hospital physiotherapists looking to transition - If you have built solid assessment and reasoning skills in an acute or subacute setting and are ready for greater clinical autonomy, continuity of care, and the challenge of managing your own caseload, private practice MSK could be a strong next step. Your foundation in complex presentations and post-operative rehab is directly transferable here. Clinicians with some private practice experience - If you have had early exposure to outpatient or private practice and want a more structured, performance-focused environment to sharpen your skills and develop professionally, this role offers that progression. This position would suit a physiotherapist who: • Has a strong interest in MSK and sports rehabilitation • Enjoys working with active and gym-based patients • Is confident communicating clearly with patients and referrers • Is comfortable receiving structured feedback and mentoring • Wants to build confidence managing a caseload independently Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are essential due to the level of patient education and GP/specialist communication required in private practice. What You Will Be Doing • Managing a mixed caseload of acute injuries, persistent pain, and post-operative rehabilitation • Delivering structured, goal-focused treatment plans with measurable outcomes • Using objective strength testing and progress markers to track patient improvement • Guiding patients through return-to-sport and gym-based rehabilitation pathways • Running or assisting with Clinical Pilates sessions to support functional recovery • Communicating clearly and professionally with GPs, specialists, and referrers • Participating in case discussions, mentoring, and internal professional development • Contributing to a high-performance clinic culture that values accountability, teamwork, and excellent patient outcomes What We Provide • 6-week structured induction program to build confidence and clinical consistency • Dedicated weekly mentoring and coaching with senior clinicians • A collaborative, high-performance team culture that values growth and accountability • Competitive salary with performance-based bonus pathways • Transparent career progression linked to clinical development • Access to fully equipped gyms and reformer Pilates facilities • Opportunities to run sports screenings, attend local sporting events, and support community clubs • Strong administrative systems so clinicians can focus on delivering high-quality treatment • Clear pathways to professional growth as our clinics expand Requirements • Physiotherapy degree recognised in Australia • Full AHPRA registration • Strong interest in private practice musculoskeletal care • Clear and confident communication skills • Commitment to ongoing clinical development • Alignment with structured, outcome-focused rehabilitation
