Looking for an experienced maintenance electrician for work on the Gold Coast! Your new company Hays Recruitment is a leading specialist agency within Australias Trades and Labour sector, partnering with a well-established organisation seeking a qualified tradesperson for ongoing work in the Gold Coast region. Your new role As a qualified electrician, your duties will include, but are not limited to: Carry out electrical installations across various sites Perform routine servicing and maintenance tasks Complete the electrical scope of minor works and project activities Undertake make-safe works and repairs on social housing and government-owned properties Execute electrical tasks using appropriate testing equipment and safety gear for construction and maintenance work Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications Use computer systems and handheld devices to input data, and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Outlook) Apply safe work practices when dealing with asbestos, lead-based materials, and other high-risk construction environments. Adhere to WHS legislation and site requirements, including conducting daily risk assessments, identifying hazards, and following safety procedures Take accountability for personal health, safety, and wellbeing, ensuring no harm to others or property.
