Workfast is searching on behalf of their client, an experienced Electrician for HV works on a major project 1 hour out of Adelaide in South Australia. This is a site-based role on a 2:1 roster , working on a large-scale infrastructure project. The role: 12 hour days (consistent hours) Weekly rate of $7,400 1 hour out of Adelaide You will be working on high-value HV infrastructure Accommodation and meals provided Supportive & committed team Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): Supervise and sign off on installations & connections of HV works Lead crews across construction and commissioning activities Oversee testing and fault-finding Manage SCADA integration and communications interfaces Ensure all systems and auxiliary installations meet compliance standards Drive site safety, QA and adherence to AS/NZS standards Successful candidates will have: Proven experience in HV works (including HV Certification- essential) SA A- Grade Electrical Licence (essential) EEHA qualifications (essential) Valid Australian Drivers Licence White Card Knowledge of protection, SCADA and communications systems Ability to pass pre-employment medicals (including drug & alcohol testing) National Police Clearance (highly regarded) Working at Heights (highly regarded) Confined Spaces & Gas Test Atmosphere (highly regarded) Workfast is a labour-hire company working with some of Australia's largest and leading building companies.
