This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with strong accounts and office coordination skills who enjoys working in a collaborative and supportive small-business environment. Position: Administrative Officer Location : Port Melbourne Duration: Temporary role with the potential to transition to a permanent position. Mon-Fri, 5 days a week, Onsite Hourly Rate: 40 P/HSuper Responsibilities Accounts & Finance Support Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Enter supplier bills and customer invoices into Xero Perform regular bank reconciliations Maintain accurate financial records Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding account enquiries Administration & Office Support Manage incoming emails and correspondence Provide general administrative support across the business Coordinate calendars, appointments, travels and diary management Organise internal and external meetings Prepare and maintain documents, records, and spreadsheets Create and update documents using Microsoft Word Office Coordination Order and manage office supplies and consumables Monitor stock levels and arrange replenishment when required Support day-to-day office operations to ensure smooth workflow Systems & Data Management Maintain accurate data entry and reporting in Excel Update records across business systems Assist with process improvements and administrative efficiencies Logistics & Trade Support Provide administrative support for import and export activities Assist with shipment documentation and coordination Your Profile Essential Experience using Xero , including accounts payable/receivable, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Desirable Experience Microsoft Business Central or other ERP/accounting systems Experience working in the shipping or logistics industry Experience working in a small business environment Ready to get moving?
