With a modern workshop, advanced diagnostic technology, and a people-first culture, they provide long-term career opportunities within a supportive team environment About the role Just Automotive Recruitment is seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join a busy workshop in Alexandria, NSW, servicing and repairing a wide range of heavy vehicles and specialised equipment. Duties Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance, including A, B and C services. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and occasional hydraulic faults using OEM diagnostic equipment. Complete pre-delivery inspections, fit-outs, and accessory installations on new trucks. Carry out major mechanical repairs, including engine replacements and component rebuilds. Maintain high safety and quality standards while working collaboratively with the workshop team. Skills and experience Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic. Experience servicing and repairing heavy commercial vehicles. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills using OEM diagnostic equipment. Experience with European truck brands is highly regarded. Current driver's license (HR license advantageous) with a positive, team-focused attitude. Benefits Earn $55 per hour with overtime penalty rates and optional Saturday overtime. Flexible start and finish times with a minimum 38-hour work week. Optional Saturday shifts (every second Saturday, 7am–12pm) for extra earning potential.
