Work in a secure team where safety, training and support matter. Ongoing, full-time role earning $85,787 - $98,651 per year, plus super. What you will do As industry officer – kitchen, you will help deliver prison industry programs that support rehabilitation and community safety. You will supervise daily kitchen work while maintaining safe, secure and productive operations. You will: deliver safe kitchen operations that meet production targets and customer needs maintain accurate stock, supplier and financial records train and supervise people in prison to use tools, machinery and equipment safely support positive behaviour through coaching, mentoring and work-based learning complete timely records, searches, escorts and reports while following prison procedures. About you A relevant trade qualification or industry certification is desirable. You must complete the Prison Officer Pre-Service Training if you have not already done so. You should also have: experience with workplace health and safety in an operational setting strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems good judgement to solve problems and support daily operations * clear communication skills and the ability to build respectful working relationships.
