If you've completed a few project cycles as a Contract Administrator and find yourself enjoying a purely contracts encompassing role with a commercial pathway as opposed to a project management pathway, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for. The business is creating a dedicated procurement function to support a growing pipeline of commercial, fit-out, and new-build projects. With values bewteen $2 to $7 million. This is a newly created position where you'll take ownership of subcontract procurement across multiple projects, preparing scopes of work, issuing tenders, reviewing submissions, negotiating packages and compiling subcontract agreements. You'll work closely with the Senior CA and Commercial Manager and play a key role in building the systems and processes that will underpin the procurement function as the business continues to grow. We're open to different backgrounds. You might be a Contract Administrator with 3 to 7 years of experience who has delivered projects from start to finish and wants to move into a specialist procurement role. You could be an Estimator looking to transition into post-tender delivery. Equally, if you're earlier in your career and see procurement as a long-term pathway, we'd be interested in speaking with you. You must have a bachelor's or diploma in construction management, and your experience must be local.
