Job Description About the Role We’re growing our team and are seeking experienced E&I Technicians and Hazardous Areas Electricians to support the delivery of the Santos CMS Project in the Cooper Basin. Working a 2:2 FIFO roster , you’ll play a key role in the installation, maintenance, testing and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems across critical oil & gas infrastructure. With purpose, respect and a driven mindset, you’ll contribute by: Install, maintain, test and commission electrical and instrumentation systems. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance across electrical and instrumentation equipment. Conduct loop checks, calibration, fault finding and commissioning activities. Install and maintain hazardous area electrical equipment in accordance with relevant standards. Interpret electrical schematics, loop diagrams, P&IDs and technical drawings. Troubleshoot faults across instrumentation, control and electrical systems. Complete maintenance records, testing documentation and quality inspections. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with site safety procedures, permits and compliance requirements. Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role: Unrestricted Australian Electrical Licence. Current Hazardous Areas (EEHA/HA) qualification. Experience working as an E&I Technician and/or Hazardous Areas Electrician within oil & gas, energy, mining or heavy industrial environments. Strong understanding of instrumentation, electrical systems and process control. Experience commissioning, testing and fault finding. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and loop diagrams. Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork. Current White Card and Driver’s Licence. Full Australian working rights.
