The role The Risk & Compliance Manager will form part of the Leadership Team and report to the CEO. You will have oversight of and overall responsibility for all regulatory and internal compliance within the Ainslie Group In collaboration with the CEO and other business leaders, you will oversee the group’s overall risk management including: regulatory compliance performance and risk mitigation; improved business risk mitigation and efficiency; and commercial performance metrics. We’re looking for a risk and compliance professional with strong capability in record management and reporting, someone who demonstrates high standards of accuracy but also appreciates the need to build a risk aware culture and engagement across the business with a practical approach to enforcement. To be successful in this role, you will have: Formal Qualification in risk management/business will be HIGHLY REGARDED. Minimum 5 years’ demonstrated experience in the application of effective risk and compliance management. Experience within a financial services environment will be HIGHLY BENEFICIAL. Ability to quickly gain an understanding of AUSTRAC obligations according to both the AML/CTF Act and AML/CTF Rules. Exceptional attention to detail, responsiveness and initiative. Outstanding interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills. Strategic mindset and ability to support long term business objectives Ideally you will have an interest in Bullion and/or Crypto.
