Seeking a technically strong and self-motivated Senior Civil Designer to join their expanding Brisbane team. In this role, you will take ownership of the civil design and documentation for major land and urban development projects, working directly with Tier 1 developers and local authorities. Key responsibilities include: Leading the civil design and documentation for earthworks, road geometry, stormwater drainage, and utility reticulation using 12D. Managing civil design packages autonomously from initial master planning through to final operational works approval. Partnering closely with internal civil engineers, project managers, and the in-house geospatial survey team to ensure seamless data integration. Coordinating with local Queensland councils and utility authorities to secure necessary design approvals. Providing guidance and technical support to junior designers to help them develop their 12D modeling and design skills. Who We Are Looking For Advanced, hands-on proficiency in 12D design software is essential. Proven track record of delivering civil designs for residential subdivisions, commercial developments, or industrial estates within an Australian consultancy. Strong understanding of Queensland planning codes, local council guidelines, and utility authority standards. Clear written and verbal communication skills to effectively coordinate with clients, project managers, and internal team members. An Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering, or equivalent practical design qualification.
