About the Company Blaze Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of an established Australian dairy and food manufacturing business located in Melbourne's northern suburbs. The business produces high-quality dairy products and is entering an important phase of operational improvement, structure and growth. They are now seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead day-to-day production across processing, manufacturing and packaging operations. About the Role Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a hands-on leadership role suited to an experienced production leader with strong food manufacturing experience, ideally within dairy, who can drive safety, quality, efficiency and team performance. You will lead production supervisors and operators across a fast-paced manufacturing environment, while working closely with planning, quality, maintenance, supply chain and senior management. Key Responsibilities Lead daily production across processing, manufacturing and packaging operations Ensure production output is achieved in line with schedules, cost budgets and customer requirements Manage, coach and develop supervisors, operators and production team members across shifts Drive performance across safety, quality, efficiency, labour utilisation, waste and downtime Work closely with Quality to maintain HACCP, GMP and internal food safety standards Monitor production KPIs, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions Lead continuous improvement initiatives using production data, OEE, downtime and waste reporting About You To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate: Proven experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager or senior production leader Dairy manufacturing experience preferred and will be highly regarded Experience leading teams in food, FMCG or high-volume manufacturing environments Previous responsibility for production KPIs, labour efficiency, downtime, waste or OEE Experience managing supervisors, team leaders or multi-shift production teams Working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety or similar quality systems Ability to identify production issues and implement practical process improvements What's on Offer Salary package of $140,000 - $150,000 Super Full-time permanent opportunity Melbourne northern suburbs location Opportunity to lead a full production function Genuine scope to improve systems, processes and team performance Established Australian manufacturing business Supportive senior leadership team Immediate opportunity for the right candidate How to Apply If you are an experienced production leader looking for a hands-on role where you can make a genuine operational impact, please click Apply Now and submit your resume.
