The Lorian Group is looking for an experienced Design Coordinator on behalf of a well-established commercial fitout and refurbishment contractor specialising in healthcare and medical environments. This is not a traditional design role. Instead, you'll be responsible for coordinating the design process, acting as the key link between clients and the design team while working closely with estimating and project delivery teams to ensure projects run smoothly from concept through to construction. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the design process across multiple medical fitout and refurbishment projects. Act as the primary liaison between clients and the internal design team. Manage client expectations and maintain regular communication throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with estimating and project delivery teams to ensure designs align with project scope, budgets, and construction requirements. You will also be responsible for some estimating You'll ideally bring: Experience as a Design Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Design Manager, Estimator, Contract Administrator, or similar role within commercial construction. Experience delivering commercial fitout and refurbishment projects. Previous estimating experience (highly regarded). Experience using EstimateOne and Procore (or similar construction software). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong organisational and time management abilities. The ability to wear multiple hats in a fast-paced environment.
