As a Painter at Upside Access Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and surface preparation services across residential, commercial and high-rise projects. This position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to workplace safety and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team. Responsibilities and Tasks: Interpret project specifications, work instructions and drawings to determine painting requirements and surface preparation methods. Prepare work areas by erecting or assisting with access equipment, protecting surrounding fixtures and ensuring safe site set-up. Prepare interior and exterior surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, cleaning and removing existing coatings. Apply paints, primers, sealants and protective coatings using appropriate brushes, rollers and spray equipment. Mix, match and prepare paint colours to achieve required finishes and maintain colour consistency. Carry out painting works on residential, commercial and high-rise buildings. Work collaboratively with rope access technicians and other trades to complete projects safely and on schedule. Inspect completed work, perform touch-ups where required and maintain a clean worksite. Maintain painting tools and equipment and report defects. Comply with workplace health and safety and environmental policies at all times. Qualifications and Skills: Relevant qualification. Minimum 1 year experience as a Painter. Knowledge of painting techniques, coatings and surface preparation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Sound understanding of workplace health and safety practices. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 - $85,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
