Based in Alice Springs, these roles will play a key part in expanding community connections, supporting local events, promoting education and awareness initiatives, and helping improve access to important support services throughout the region. This is an exciting opportunity for community-focused professionals who enjoy working directly with people, building trusted relationships, and making a genuine difference in regional and remote communities. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with community organisations, service providers and local stakeholders. Support community events and activities by increasing participation and engagement. Deliver community education and awareness sessions using established resources. Provide direct support and information to community members where required. Increase organisational visibility and engagement across Southern NT. Contribute to the development of culturally appropriate and community-led engagement initiatives. Work collaboratively with local and interstate teams to support regional objectives. Travel Requirements Regular travel to remote communities across Southern NT. Travel responsibilities will be shared between the two positions. Most travel is expected to be completed within the same day where possible. Occasional travel to Darwin will be required for collaboration with the broader NT team. Weekend travel is generally not required. About You: Strong community engagement and relationship-building skills. A sound understanding of communities across Southern NT. The ability to work independently while remaining connected to a broader team. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities. Reasonable IT and digital literacy skills. Flexibility, initiative and a willingness to travel throughout the region. A collaborative approach and commitment to positive community outcomes. Highly Regarded Experiences Experience delivering community education or awareness programs. Experience providing direct client or community support.
