In this role, you will support branch governance functions and contribute to the delivery of legislative and policy responsibilities within a nationally significant regulatory program. You will provide advice and respond to enquiries relating to governance, legislation, policy matters and the broader legislative framework. Key Responsibilities Support governance activities across the branch. Contribute to the delivery of legislative and policy functions. Provide advice on governance, policy and legislative matters. Respond to enquiries relating to legislative frameworks and regulatory requirements. Support the development and implementation of legislative and policy initiatives. Assist with continuous improvement and business uplift activities. Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation. About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Strong policy, governance or legislative experience. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to interpret and apply legislation and policy frameworks. Sound stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A proactive approach, with initiative and a commitment to continuous improvement. A positive, collaborative attitude and strong organisational skills. Highly Regarded Experience Legal qualifications and/or experience as a practising lawyer. Experience in legislation development or legislative reform. Previous experience working in a government environment. Regulatory policy or regulatory compliance experience.
