We are seeking a talented and experienced General Practice Nurse to join our dedicated team at Lane Cove Family Medical Practice. This is a full-time role located in Lane Cove, NSW 2066. As a General Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the overall operations of our medical practice. What you'll be doing Providing nursing care and support to patients visiting the practice Assisting doctors with examinations, treatments and procedures Administering vaccinations and managing immunisation programs Conducting health assessments, health education and chronic disease management Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation Ensuring the practice's clinical areas and equipment are well-maintained and compliant with infection control standards Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver coordinated patient care What we're looking for Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Minimum 1 year experience working as a General Practice Nurse or in a similar primary care setting Strong clinical skills and ability to work autonomously Best Practice knowledge essential Recall and reminder knowledge essential Chronic disease management essential (Preparing Care Plans and Health Assessments) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and the healthcare team Demonstrated proficiency in maintaining accurate clinical documentation and data entry Commitment to continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with nursing practices Nurse immunisation certificate [Preferred] or willing to complete What we offer At Lane Cove Family Medical Practice, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
