We're partnering with a well-respected Queensland organisation to recruit an experienced Cyber Security Solution Architect to join a major cyber security delivery program. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on enterprise-wide security initiatives that will have a lasting impact across the organisation. You'll play a pivotal role in designing and governing modern security solutions while working alongside delivery teams, vendors and senior stakeholders to ensure successful implementation. This is a highly collaborative role suited to an architect who enjoys balancing strategic design with practical delivery outcomes. About the Role As the Cyber Security Solution Architect, you'll be responsible for leading the solution architecture across several critical cyber initiatives, with an initial focus on enterprise Identity & Access Management capabilities. Working closely with vendors and project teams, you'll develop solution designs, provide architectural governance throughout delivery and ensure solutions are implemented in line with enterprise standards and business objectives. You'll also contribute to broader cyber security initiatives across Microsoft's security ecosystem and other leading enterprise security platforms. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain high-level solution architectures for enterprise cyber security initiatives. Provide architectural leadership throughout solution delivery. Work closely with implementation partners and vendors to ensure solutions align with approved designs. Review detailed technical designs and provide architecture assurance. Collaborate with project managers, technical teams and business stakeholders. Support the successful transition of solutions into operational support teams. Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security standards and best practice. About You You'll be an experienced Cyber Security Solution Architect with a strong delivery background and a practical, hands-on approach to architecture. We're looking for someone who brings: Demonstrated experience as a Cyber Security or Solution Architect within large enterprise environments. Strong Identity & Access Management experience. Experience designing or implementing enterprise identity solutions. Strong knowledge of Microsoft security technologies, including Entra ID and the broader Microsoft security ecosystem. Experience with technologies such as Privileged Access Management (PAM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and enterprise security platforms. Strong vendor engagement and architecture governance experience. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Most importantly, you'll enjoy working closely with delivery teams, influencing outcomes and ensuring architecture is successfully translated into practical implementation.
