About the role: This is an exciting opportunity for a payroll professional to take a step into a supportive payroll team on a temp to perm opportunity. Along with assisting the every day payroll processing, this role will be across multiple EBA's/Awards and on both a weekly and monthyl pay-cycle. The office is located in Sydney CBD and you'll have strong working from home flexibility once settled. The responsibilities Reporting into the Payroll Manager the main responsibilities include: Accurate and timely execution of payroll multiple payrolls Manages risk and compliance for payroll areas Act as SME on payroll data Delivery quality customer service balanced against efficiency and compliance requirements Support the payroll administrator(s) in responding to escalated incomplete Take Actions, enquiries, complaints, issues etc and proactively resolve larger problems in a structured manner Act as subject matter expert in relation to calculation of salary and allowances; leave entitlements; tax and superannuation application; employment legislation and any other terms of employment for identified payroll areas The successful applicant will have: At least 5 years experience in end to end payroll Ability to interpret pay, leave and allowances clauses in enterprise agreements Excellent communications skills Be able to work in large, team environments Ability to interpret modern awards Culture The team and company prides itself on the values of compassion, quality, and fun.
