Truck Driver Duties: Safely operate and manoeuvre multi-combination road train vehicles transporting bulk mining materials across mine sites and designated haulage routes throughout Western Australia. Position vehicles accurately for loading and unloading activities while maintaining strict compliance with site-specific safety procedures and operational requirements. Load and unload materials using approved lifting, tipping and haulage equipment, ensuring all operations are completed safely and efficiently. Observe and comply with all workplace health and safety regulations, road transport legislation, fatigue management requirements and mine site protocols. Conduct comprehensive pre-start, en-route and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles, trailers and associated equipment remain in a safe and roadworthy condition. Estimate and monitor load weights to ensure compliance with legal load limits, axle weight restrictions and safe load distribution requirements. Secure, cover and stow loads appropriately to prevent movement, loss or damage during transportation across remote and mining environments. Verify consignment notes, load documentation and delivery records, inspect the condition of transported materials and obtain delivery confirmations where required. Maintain accurate records of driving hours, vehicle inspections, fuel usage, maintenance requirements and transport documentation. Report vehicle defects, safety concerns, incidents, breakdowns and maintenance issues promptly to management and workshop personnel. Plan and follow designated transport routes while coordinating effectively with site supervisors, dispatch personnel and loading operators. Maintain a high standard of professionalism and ensure company vehicles and equipment are operated, presented and maintained in accordance with company policies and industry best practices. Qualification: ·AQF Certificate II or Higher ·Valid Open HR License ·At least 2 years of experience in a related field SALARY $80,000 - $90,000 per annum plus superannuation Working Conditions: ·Full Time / 38 hours per week Email: Diesel Motor Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties: • Discuss mechanical issues with drivers and operators to identify faults, performance concerns, and maintenance requirements in heavy vehicles and road train equipment. • Detect, diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults in diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering systems, suspension components and associated heavy vehicle equipment. • Perform scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, lubrication, fluid replacement, engine tune-ups and safety inspections on diesel-powered road trains, prime movers, trailers and other heavy transport equipment. • Inspect, test and assess diesel engines, gearboxes, differentials, steering assemblies, suspension systems, braking systems and other mechanical components to determine repair requirements. • Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, braking systems and other major components for inspection, repair and replacement. • Repair or replace worn, damaged or defective mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards. • Reassemble engines, transmissions and mechanical components following repairs and ensure all systems are correctly fitted and functioning efficiently. • Diagnose and test vehicle systems using computerised diagnostic equipment, specialised testing instruments and manufacturer software. • Test, adjust and calibrate repaired mechanical and electrical systems to ensure optimum performance, reliability and compliance with safety requirements. • Service and repair heavy vehicle braking systems, steering systems, suspension components and driveline assemblies to maintain safe vehicle operation. • Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles and trailers comply with roadworthiness, transport regulations and company safety standards. • Respond to vehicle breakdowns and carry out emergency repairs to minimise operational downtime and maintain fleet productivity. • Complete maintenance records, service reports, inspection documentation and repair logs accurately and in a timely manner. • Maintain workshop tools, diagnostic equipment and work areas in a clean, safe and operational condition. • Liaise professionally with drivers, supervisors and management regarding repair requirements, maintenance schedules and fleet performance. • Ensure all repair and maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements, environmental regulations and company procedures. • Perform final operational checks, testing and road tests following repairs to verify vehicle safety, reliability and overall performance before returning equipment to service. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Minimum Certificate III or IV qualification in Diesel Motor Mechanics or relevant trade qualification. At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role. SALARY $80,000 - $90,000 per annum plus superannuation Working Conditions: ·Full Time / 38 hours per week Email: Fitter Duties: The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties: • Study technical drawings, specifications and maintenance manuals to determine suitable materials, repair methods and assembly procedures. • Fit, assemble and install fabricated metal parts, mechanical components and subassemblies used in road trains, trailers and heavy transport equipment. • Inspect, measure and check fabricated and assembled components for accuracy, alignment, clearance and fit using precision measuring instruments. • Operate workshop machinery, hand tools and fabrication equipment to manufacture, modify and repair metal components to required specifications. • Cut, thread, bend, install and repair hydraulic and pneumatic pipes, hoses, fittings and associated fluid power systems. • Dismantle, overhaul, repair and reassemble mechanical assemblies, bearings, pumps, valves, couplings and related equipment. • Repair or replace worn, damaged or defective mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards. • Perform preventative maintenance and servicing on trailers, hydraulic systems and associated mechanical equipment to ensure reliable operation and minimise downtime. • Conduct testing and operational checks on repaired equipment to verify safe, efficient and reliable performance. • Assist in the installation, commissioning and modification of mechanical equipment and transport-related machinery as required. • Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports and repair documentation. • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements, environmental regulations and company procedures. • Maintain workshop tools, machinery and equipment in a clean, safe and serviceable condition. • Communicate effectively with supervisors and workshop personnel regarding maintenance requirements, equipment performance and repair activities.
