This role gives you the chance to take ownership of a well-structured apartment project with a solid team around you. The project is an $18m apartment build in Carlton. Seven-level concrete structure, crane on site and limited space, so it needs someone who understands how to plan ahead, manage sequencing and keep the site moving when access and logistics become challenging. You'll be leading from the front, coordinating trades, keeping the build on schedule, maintaining safety and quality standards and working closely with the PM to push the project through to completion. The builder has built a strong reputation across residential and commercial construction, delivering award-winning projects and developing long-term relationships with clients. Internally, they've also built a team that tends to stick around. A number of the current leaders have progressed through the business over the past eight years, which says a lot about how the director operates. He's approachable, easy to deal with and backs his people properly. There's also a good culture around the place, with quarterly team days, regular catch-ups and a team that works well together on and off site. The salary is up to $200k super, depending on your experience. To be considered, you'll need previous experience delivering apartment or large-scale residential projects of a similar size and complexity. Experience working on crane projects and tight-access sites is essential. Apply directly via SEEK. No polished resume? No problem.
