High performing & growing Company Business Partnering role $130/$140k package excellent benefits Are you a quantitative credit risk professional ready to shape how a purpose-led bank lends to Australians? We are looking for a Manager, Credit Risk Analytics to join a highly credible Credit Risk team — a role that sits at the intersection of data science, strategic thinking and real lending outcomes. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will take ownership of the quantitative models, tools and strategies that drive retail lending decisions across Home Loans, Credit Cards and Personal Loans. You will optimising credit acquisitions, monitor portfolio health and contribute to the bank’s credit risk appetite settings. The Role Credit strategy Design automated decisioning strategies and models across scorecards, serviceability rules and credit engines for existing and new products. Contribute to credit risk strategies that support the organisation’s objectives across key portfolios and customer segments. Support sustainable growth through reduced cost of decisioning and an improved risk-reward for new lending. Model governance Own monitoring, validation and continuous improvement of credit risk models within the Model Risk Framework. Ensure appropriate model design, testing and review practices that drive continuous improvement. Apply robust quantitative techniques and professional credit risk judgement across all model activity. Reporting and insights Develop and maintain regular reporting on application trends, new originations and portfolio performance. Design and deliver reporting that enables Board-level oversight of the lending portfolio. Support recurring and ad hoc quantitative analysis to identify opportunities to better manage risk-return. Contribute to portfolio stress testing, ICAAP and, where required, the ongoing management of the provision model. Stakeholder management Work closely with Technology, Product, Data and external partners to prioritise and deliver credit risk solutions. Manage key external relationships including credit bureaux, mortgage insurers, valuers and scorecard providers. Communicate clearly and succinctly with executive and credit committee audiences.
