Job Description : Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Performance Testing Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests to ensure the reliability and responsiveness of enterprise applications. The role requires strong expertise in performance testing tools, monitoring solutions, and performance analysis across web, mobile, API, and cloud-based applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute performance test strategies, plans, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements. Perform Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance, Capacity, and Scalability testing for applications and APIs. Analyze application performance, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for optimization. Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve performance-related issues. Develop automated performance testing frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. Monitor system resources including CPU, memory, disk I/O, network utilization, database performance, and application logs during test execution. Create detailed performance test reports, dashboards, and executive summaries. Participate in performance tuning activities and validate performance improvements. Support production performance monitoring and troubleshooting activities when required. Requirements Required Skills & Experience: Technical Skills: Experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering. Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as: LoadRunner JMeter NeoLoad 5 years of experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering. Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as: LoadRunner JMeter NeoLoad Gatling BlazeMeter Strong experience in API performance testing using REST/SOAP services. Experience with application monitoring and observability tools such as: Dynatrace AppDynamics
