The Opportunity: As a Senior Civil Engineer, youâll take ownership of the planning, design and deelivery of civil infrastructure projects across land development and building civil works. Working with a high-performing team, youâll lead technical design, manage competing requirements, and contribute to projects delivered safely, on time and within budget. Youâll be responsible for producing and overseeing high-quality design outputs, including calculations, specifications, reports and documentation, while ensuring compliance with Austroads, DIT and Australian Standards. From developing stormwater management plans to navigating complex design challenges, youâll bring sound engineering judgement and innovation to every stage of delivery. Beyond technical delivery, youâll step into a key leadership roleâmentoring junior engineers, guiding project teams and reviewing deliverables to ensure quality and consistency. Youâll also build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to project success through clear, well-structured proposals and reporting. About You: Youâre a confident and capable civil engineer who thrives on delivering complex infrastructure projects and leading teams to success. You bring a strong technical foundation, commercial awareness and a collaborative mindset. Degree in Engineering (Civil or equivalent) with 7 yearsâ experience Chartered Engineer (CPEng) with Engineers Australia Demonstrated experience delivering infrastructure projects across land development and/or building civil works Strong knowledge of Austroads, DIT and Australian Standards Background within an engineering consultancy environment Proven ability to lead design outcomes and mentor team members Strong understanding of commercial arrangements and project delivery Excellent written and verbal communication skills A strong commitment to health, safety and quality Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship (Preferred for Defence related projects).
