About the role We are looking for a heavy Vehicle Foreman to join our team in a full-time capacity at our state-of-the-art dealership facility in Somerton. Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, you will collaborate closely with the team, overseeing a sizable workshop of skilled technicians and eager apprentices. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient management of daily workflows with accuracy and precision. Duties & Responsibilities Maintain a productive working environment within the service workshop and in accordance with policy and procedures Assist technicians with diagnosis of difficult repairs Conduct quality control inspections and ensure that all service and repair work is performed to a standard that exceeds our customers’ expectations Conduct regular toolbox meetings with Service Department staff Maintain positive relationships with clear lines of communication with other departments. Assist the Service Manager in encouraging and implementing WHS standards and procedures Skills & Experience Experience as a Heavy Vehicle Technician with required trade certificate Previous supervision skills / experience preferred High level of problem solving / diagnostic skills Current HR licence Excellent ability to impart acquired knowledge to both technicians and apprentices Thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills Attention to detail with a customer and safety focus
