Our client is Australia’s leading specialist in the manufacture of custom pressure vessels, shell and tube heat exchangers, tube bundles and fin fan air cooler bundles, supplying major Australian refineries and chemical plants. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Boilermaker to continue developing their trade under the guidance of a highly experienced welder who is passionate about mentoring the next generation of tradespeople. Working Hours Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 3:30pm Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm Overtime is available during busy periods and when project deadlines require. About the Role Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will continue to develop your skills in heavy fabrication while assisting with the manufacture of high-quality equipment for major industrial clients. You’ll receive hands-on training, genuine mentoring and the opportunity to gain experience in specialised fabrication that few apprentices are exposed to. About You To be successful, you will: Be currently completing your 3rd or 4th year of a Boilermaking apprenticeship. Have a sound understanding of basic fabrication principles. Be eager to learn from experienced tradespeople. Follow instructions and established procedures. Work well independently once trained. Be reliable with excellent attendance. Have a positive, respectful and team-focused attitude. Take pride in producing quality work. Be willing to assist with general workshop duties when required.
