About the role As the Executive Director Corporate Services, you will lead a broad portfolio of corporate functions, including People and Culture, Work Health and Safety, Corporate Governance, Audit, Legal Services, Communications, Stakeholder Engagement, and Board and Executive Services. Through these functions, you will ensure the organisation maintains strong governance, workforce capability, compliance, and organisational performance in support of high-quality healthcare delivery. As a trusted advisor and direct report to the Health Service Chief Executive, you will have a critical role in identifying emerging issues, mitigating risk, and ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements across the organisation. This position has direct supervision of 9FTE and indirect supervision of 76.5FTE About you As an experienced executive leader, you will be someone who can demonstrate: Extensive executive leadership experience in large, complex organisations, leading corporate services functions including communications, stakeholder engagement, governance, human resources, or organisational support services, with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-wide strategic outcomes. Proven leadership of high-performing multidisciplinary teams, delivering results in complex, fast-paced, and politically sensitive environments. Demonstrated strategic leadership in organisational planning, governance, financial and resource management, workforce leadership, and organisational performance. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships across government, executive leadership, consumers, and the community. Highly developed ability to provide strategic advice, analyse complex issues, and support informed executive decision-making.
